Zsmile technology is designed to make smile correction easy for both patients and doctors. Using pulsating air delivered by our AI-based control unit, the Zsmile smart aligner gently moves teeth to their final position. Zsmile underwent a decade of development by a team of twelve experts, including orthodontists, engineers, industrial designers, and dental technicians. They created a clinically-proven method to correct Class 1 and Class 2 malocclusions using pulsating air, which significantly enhances gum circulation for effective tooth movement.
Our AI-based Zsmile platform allows patients to use our app to scan their teeth with a smartphone for doctor review. The Zstation (control unit) monitors treatment compliance and provides encouragement to patients while giving doctors accurate treatment information that can be adjusted remotely.
We achieved the European CE Mark in January 2013 and FDA clearance of our first generation appliance in 2020 as a Class II medical device. Clinical trials confirmed its efficacy for adults and pediatric patients, addressing issues like crowding, proclination, and retroclination, with results comparable to leading clear aligner solutions.
